MEMBER BENEFITS

 

By becoming a supporting artist with Regional Artisans Association, you are joining a unique organization devoted to promoting working artists in and around Santa Cruz County. Benefits to supporting artists include:

 

Discounts on Art Marketing Workshops

Participating members receive a discount on all art marketing workshops conducted by the Regional Artisans Association. Workshops in 2015 will include “Creating a Facebook Page for Your Art,” and “Creating a Website for Your Art.”

 

Group Discounts on Art and Craft Supplies

Members receive wholesale pricing plus 10% on art and craft supplies from Notions Marketing.

 

Inclusion in “Third Fridays-Capitola Mall” art walk

Supporting Artists receive preferential participation in RAA's Third Fridays events.

 

Involvement Opportunities

Supporting artists are encouraged to volunteer, join committees, and have a direct impact on helping Santa Cruz County become a nationally recognized arts destination (all while promoting your own work).

 

Referrals

RAA refers a lot of phone and onsite inquiries for custom work to our local artists. Referrals through RAA’s websites, customer list, and non-profit venues continue to grow and generate new clients for our local artists.

 

Santa Cruz Artists dot com Website

Supporting Artists receive a discount on participation in RAA's non-profit online art market for Santa Cruz County artists. Available only to residents of Santa Cruz County.

 

Teaching Opportunities

Supporting Artists are encouraged to teach classes in both of our non-profit venues. RAA will charge $8.00 per student, per class, for each class lasting 4 hours or less. An additional $15 per hour is charged for each hour over this 4 hour limit.

 

Trunk Shows

Supporting artists are encouraged to hold one independent trunk show per year at either of our non-profit venues.  Shows can be scheduled for one or two days, and RAA will take a 40% commisson on all sales.

 

Website Listing

You will be listed as a “Supporting Artist” on our Regional Artisans Association website with a link to your website.
